Built on the success of 2005, 2007, and 2009, the 2011 International Tea convention & Trade Fair will take place in Hangzhou on 21-23 October, 2011. High officials of the Chinese government, ministries and UNFAO, as well as top management of, including but not limited to, the International Tea Committee and the E.U. Tea Committee will attend the convention. Attendees from 40 countries and regions, including the U.S., Russia, Germany, the U.K., Japan, Republic of Korea, Morocco, Egypt, India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan Province, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and etc. will be present at the convention. Tea growing and processing enterprises, organizations, experts, scholars and well-known entrepreneurs will gather in Hangzhou to discuss hot topics, challenges and issues of concern in the tea industry, and to contribute their wisdom to the development of the industry.

With the theme of Scientific cooperation, healthy tea-drinking, and trade exchange, the convention will include such activities as tea summit, salon, tea products trade fair, award giving of the 10 best counties for tea export, the 10 leading tea enterprises, the best innovative products, and the contribution award selected by CFNA and ITC. There will also be signing ceremony, tea products introduction and promotion, business meetings and tea sampling by 10,000 people. Furthermore, upon request of people in the world tea business, we will organize groups to different tea producing areas. The convention will select mainstream media to give publicity to enterprises and products, to give exclusive interviews to international experts, well-known scholars and entrepreneurs and to communicate with tea men across the country via internet.
