According to the Customs, from January to August 2022, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 219.85 billion USD, up by 10.2% y/y. Among that, the export value was 64.06 billion USD, up by 23.1%. The import value was 155.79 billion USD, up by 5.7%. Trade deficit reached 91.73 billion USD, down by 3.7%.

In August 2022, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 28.68 billion USD, up by 6.2% y/y. Among that, the export value was 8.34 billion USD, up by 19.2%. The import value was 20.34 billion USD, up by 1.7%. Trade deficit reached 12 billion USD, down by 7.7%.
