According to the Customs, from January to June 2021, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 146.5 billion USD, up by 26.4% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 38.39 billion USD, up by 9.2%. The import value was 108.11 billion USD, up by 33.9%. Trade deficit reached 69.72 billion USD while the number from same period in 2020 was 45.6 billion.

In June 2021, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 27.04 billion USD, up by 27.3% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.79 billion USD, up by 12.1%. The import value was 20.24 billion USD, up by 33.4%. Trade deficit reached 13.45 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 9.11 billion USD.
