According to the Customs, from January to May, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to 2271.75 billion USD, up by 38.1% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 1237.6 billion USD, up by 40.2%. The import value was 1034.15 billion USD, up by 35.6%. Trade surplus reached 203.45 billion USD while the number from the same period last year was 121.36 billion USD.

 

In May 2021, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to 482.31 billion USD, up by 37.4% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 263.92 billion USD, up by 27.9%. The import value was 218.38 billion USD, up by 51.1%. Trade surplus reached 45.54 billion USD while the number from the same period last year was 62.93 billion USD.
