According to the Customs, from January to May 2021, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 119.37 billion USD, up by 26.1% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 31.6 billion USD, up by 8.6%. The import value was 87.76 billion USD, up by 33.8%. Trade deficit reached 56.16 billion USD while the number from same period in 2020 was 36.5 billion.

 

In May 2021, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 26.63 billion USD, up by 28.3% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.87 billion USD, up by 8%. The import value was 19.75 billion USD, up by 37.3%. Trade deficit reached 12.88 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 8.02 billion USD.
