According to the Customs, in the first quarter of 2021, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to 1303.6 billion USD, up by 38.6% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 709.98 billion USD, up by 49%. The import value was 593.62 billion USD, up by 28%. Trade surplus reached 116.35 billion USD while the number from the same period last year was 13.2 billion USD.
In March 2021, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to 468.47 billion USD, up by 34.2% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 241.13 billion USD, up by 30.6%. The import value was 227.34 billion USD, up by 38.1%. Trade surplus reached 13.8 billion USD while the number from the same period last year was 19.9 billion USD.
