According to the Customs, in the first quarter of 2021, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 67.79 billion USD, up by 27.1% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 18.1 billion USD, up by 11.5%. The import value was 49.69 billion USD, up by 33.8%. Trade deficit reached 31.58 billion USD while the number from same period in 2020 was 20.86 billion.

 

In March 2021, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 23.93 billion USD, up by 24.8% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.34 billion USD, down by 6.1%. The import value was 17.59 billion USD, up by 41.5%. Trade deficit reached 11.26 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 5.69 billion USD.
