According to the Customs, in 2020, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to 4.65 trillion USD, up by 1.5% over last year. Among that, the export value was 2.59 trillion USD, up by 3.6%. The import value was 2.06 trillion USD, down by 1.1%. Trade deficit reached 535.03 billion USD while the number from last year was 421.52 billion USD.

 

In December, China’s total foreign trade volume reached 485.68 billion USD, up by 12.9%. Among that, the export value was 281.93 billion USD, up by 18.1%. The import value was 203.75 billion USD, up by 6.5%. Trade deficit reached 78.17 billion USD while the number from last year was 46.79 billion USD.
