According to the Customs, in 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 246.84 billion USD, up by 8% over last year. Among that, the export value was 76.03 billion USD, down by 3.2% over last year. The import value was 17.08 billion USD, up by 14%. Trade deficit reached 94.77 billion USD while the number from 2019 was 71.31 billion.

 

In December 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 24.82 billion USD, UP by 9.6% over last month and by 7% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 7.56 billion USD, up by 1% over last month and down by 7.4% over the same month last year. The import value was 17.26 billion USD, up by 13.8% over last month and up by 14.8% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 9.71 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 6.88 billion USD.
