According to the Customs, from January to October 2020, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to 3.71 trillion USD, down by 0.8% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 2.05 trillion USD, up by 0.5% over the same period last year. The import value was 1.66 trillion USD, down by 2.3% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 384.5 billion USD, up by 14.2% over the same period last year.

 

In October, China’s total foreign trade volume reached 415.92 billion USD, up by 8.4%. Among that, the export value was 237.18 billion USD, up by 11.4%. The import value was 178.74 billion USD, up by 4.7%. Trade deficit reached 58.44 billion USD, up by 38.1%.
