According to the Customs, in October 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 20.46 billion USD, down by 6.5% over last month and up by 11.9% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.55 billion USD, down by 1.1% over last month and by 5.2% over the same month last year. The import value was 13.91 billion USD, down by 8.9% over last month and up by 22.2% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 7.35 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 4.47 billion USD.

 

From January to October 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 199.35 billion USD, up by 8.3% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 61 billion USD, down by 3% over the same period last year. The import value was 138.35 billion USD, up by 14.2% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 77.36 billion USD while the number from same period in 2019 was 58.34 billion.
