According to the Customs, in September 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 21.88 billion USD, up by 10.2% over last month and by 15.3% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.63 billion USD, up by 6.3% over last month and by 0.5% over the same month last year. The import value was 15.26 billion USD, up by 11.9% over last month and by 23.2% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 8.63 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 5.79 billion USD.

 

From January to September 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 178.9 billion USD, up by 7.9% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 54.44 billion USD, down by 2.7% over the same period last year. The import value was 124.45 billion USD, up by 13.3% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 70 billion USD while the number from same period in 2019 was 53.87 billion.
