According to the Customs, in July 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 21.23 billion USD, same as last month and up by 9.7% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.43 billion USD, up by 6.2% over last month and down by 0.7% over the same month last year. The import value was 14.8 billion USD, down by 2.5% over last month and up by 14.9% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 8.36 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 6.39 billion USD.

 

From January to July 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 137.13 billion USD, up by 7.8% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 41.59 billion USD, down by 3.3% over the same period last year. The import value was 95.54 billion USD, up by 13.5% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 53.96 billion USD while the number from same period in 2019 was 41.16 billion.
