According to the Customs, in June 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 21.23 billion USD, up by 2.3% over last month and by 20.1% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.06 billion USD, down by 4.8% over last month and by 7.3% over the same month last year. The import value was 15.17 billion USD, up by 5.5% over last month and by 36.1% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 9.11 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 4.61 billion USD.

 

From January to June 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 115.9 billion USD, up by 7.5% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 35.15 billion USD, down by 3.8% over the same period last year. The import value was 80.75 billion USD, up by 13.2% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 45.6 billion USD while the number from same period in 2019 was 34.78 billion.
