According to the Customs, in April 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 20.58 billion USD, up by 7.4% over last month and by 5.6% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.49 billion USD, down by 3.8% over last month and up by 5.4% over the same month last year. The import value was 14.09 billion USD, up by 13.4% over last month and by 5.7% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 7.6 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 7.18 billion USD.

 

From January to April 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 73.92 billion USD, up by 4.5% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 22.72 billion USD, down by 2.7% over the same period last year. The import value was 51.2 billion USD, up by 8.1% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 28.48 billion USD while the number from same period in 2019 was 24.01 billion.
