According to the Customs, in March 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 19.17 billion USD, up by 37.9% over last month and by 12.2% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.74 billion USD, up by 129.9% over last month and by 4.0% over the same month last year. The import value was 12.42 billion USD, up by 13.3 % over last month and by 17.3% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 5.68 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 4.11 billion USD.

 

From January to March 2020, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 53.3 billion USD, up by 4% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 16.23 billion USD, down by 5.7% over the same period last year. The import value was 37.07 billion USD, up by 8.9% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 20.84 billion USD while the number from same period in 2019 was 16.83 billion.
