According to the Customs, in December 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 23.2 billion USD, up by 9.4% over last month and by 24.4% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 8.16 billion USD, up by 7.9% over last month and by 7.5% over the same month last year. The import value was 15.04 billion USD, up by 10.2 % over last month and by 36.0% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 6.88 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 3.47 billion USD.

In 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 228.43 billion USD, up by 5.5% over last year. Among that, the export value was 78.57 billion USD, down by 0.9% over last year. The import value was 149.85 billion USD, up by 9.3% over last year. Trade deficit reached 71.28 billion USD while the number from 2018 was 57.82 billion.
