According to the Customs, in September 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 18.98 billion USD, down by 3.4% over last month and up by 2.9% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.59 billion USD, up by 3.6% over last month and down by 0.1% over the same month last year. The import value was 12.39 billion USD, down by 6.8% over last month and up by 4.7% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 5.79 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 5.23 billion USD.

From January to September 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 165.75 billion USD, up by 2.2% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 55.95 billion USD, down by 2.3% over the same period last year. The import value was 109.80 billion USD, up by 4.6% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 53.84 billion USD while the number from same period in 2018 was 47.63 billion.
