According to the Customs, in June 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 17.68 billion USD, down by 9.1% over last month and by 3.4% over the same month last year. Among that, the export value was 6.54 billion USD, down by 1.6% over last month and up by 1.1% over the same month last year. The import value was 11.15 billion USD, down by 13.0% over last month and by 5.8% over the same month last year. Trade deficit reached 4.61 billion USD while the number from the same month last year was 5.37 billion USD.

From January to June 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 107.85 billion USD, up by 1.4% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 36.54 billion USD, down by 2.7% over the same period last year. The import value was 71.31 billion USD, up by 3.6% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 34.78 billion USD while the number from same period in 2018 was 31.28 billion.
