According to the Customs, in February 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 12.24 billion USD, down by 44.3% over January and 8.3% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 3.73 billion USD, down by 46.7% over January and 25.6% over the same period last year. The import value was 8.51 billion USD, down by 43.1% over January and up by 2.2% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 4.78 billion USD while the number from last month was 7.96 billion.

From January to February 2019, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 34.19 billion USD, up by 3.1% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 10.73 billion USD, down by 10.5% over the same period last year. The import value was 23.46 billion USD, up by 10.9% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 12.73 billion USD. The export revenue of agricultural products takes up 3% of the total export revenue while the import revenue takes up 7.6%.
