According to the Customs, in 2018, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 216.03 billion USD, up by 8.2% over last year. Among that, the export value was 79.32 billion USD, up by 5.6% over last year. The import value was 136.71 billion USD, up by 9.6% over last year. Trade deficit reached 57.38 billion USD, an expansion of 15.5%. The export revenue of agricultural products takes up 3.2% of the total export revenue while the import revenue takes up 6.4%.
