According to the Customs, from January to February 2018, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 33.16 billion USD, up by 15.2% over the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 11.99 billion USD, up by 17.7% over the same period last year. The import value was 21.16 billion USD, up by 13.9% over the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 9.17 billion USD, an expansion of 9.7%. The export revenue of agricultural products takes up 3.2% of the total export revenue while the import revenue takes up 6.7%.
