According to the Customs, in 2017, China’s import and export value of agricultural products reached 199.82 billion USD, up by 9.1% compared to last year. Among that, the export value was 75.14 billion USD, up by 3.5% over last year. The import value was 124.68 billion USD, up by 12.7% compared to last year. Trade deficit reached 49.54 billion USD, an expansion of 30.04%. The export revenue of agricultural products takes up 3.3% of the total export revenue while the import revenue takes up 6.8%.
