According to the Customs, from January to November 2017, China’s import and export value of agricultural products reached 180.42 billion USD, up by 9.7% compared to the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 67.34 billion USD, up by 3.1% over the same period last year. The import value was 113.08 billion USD, up by 14.1% compared to the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 45.74 billion USD, an expansion of 35.2%. The export revenue of agricultural products takes up 3.3% of the total export revenue while the import revenue takes up 6.8%.
