According to the Customs, from January to July 2017, China’s import and export value of agricultural products reached 112.64 billion USD, up by 10.1% compared to the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 40.87 billion USD, up by 2.6% over the same period last year. The import value was 71.77 billion USD, up by 14.8% compared to the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 30.89 billion USD, an expansion of 36.4%. The export revenue of agricultural products takes up 3.3% of the total export revenue while the import revenue takes up 7.1%.
