According to the Customs, from January to June 2017, China’s import and export value of agricultural products reached 95.39 billion USD, up by 10.0% compared to the same period last year. Among that, the export value was 34.72 billion USD, up by 3.0% over the same period last year. The import value was 60.67 billion USD, up by 14.4% compared to the same period last year. Trade deficit reached 25.95 billion USD, an expansion of 34.1%. The export revenue of agricultural products takes up 3.3% of the total export revenue while the import revenue takes up 7%.
