Vice President Yu Lu Meets With New Zealand MPI Officials

 

Vice president Yu Lu held a video conference with Mr. Tim Knox, the outgoing deputy director general of China Relations of the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI); Ms. Charlotte Austin, the new deputy director general; Mr. Ivan Veljkovic, counselor for animal and plant quarantine of the New Zealand Embassy in China; and other officials in charge of food and agricultural products in the Embassy on May 12, 2022. The two sides introduced their teams to each other, and made brief summaries of the successful cooperation in the past.

 

On behalf of CFNA, vice president Yu Lu expressed her heartfelt thanks to Mr. Tim Knox for his outstanding work over the years and his contribution to the trade of food and agricultural products between China and New Zealand. She then warmly welcomed the arrival of Ms. Charlotte Austin, and looked forward to the further in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two sides to jointly promote the sustainable and sound development of food and agricultural trade between China and New Zealand.
