Vice President Rong Weidong Attends Ethiopia Sesame Promotion Webinar

The "Ethiopia Sesame Promotion Webinar", jointly organized by CFNA and the Ethiopian Embassy in China, was successfully held online on the afternoon of April 27th. More than 70 representatives of the Chinese and Ethiopian sesame industry participated in the webinar.

CFNA vice president Rong Weidong and Ambassador Teshome Toga of the Ethiopian Embassy in China attended the conference and delivered speeches. Representatives of the State Ministry of Trade and Regional Cooperation of Ethiopia and president of the Ethiopian Pulses, Oilseeds and Spices Processors-Exporters Association (EPOSPEA) discussed the export policies and planting of sesame seeds in Ethiopia, and conducted in-depth interpretation and analysis of the current situation and trade outlook. After the meeting, 42 Chinese companies and 14 Ethiopian companies held one-on-one business negotiations.
