China-Mexico Agricultural Business Match-making Held in Beijing

img_0153a.jpgOn 2nd November 2011, the China-Mexico Agricultural Business Match-making co-organized by CFNA and MEXCHAM was held in Beijing. Eight industry organizations and 14 agricultural companies from Mexico as well as 17 Chinese companies, altogether more than 80 people participated in the event.

President Bian Zhenhu of CFNA addressed at the event on the topic of China-Mexico Agricultural Trade. Mr. Gabriel Padilla Maya, General Coordinator of Trade Promotion and Export Promotion Support Services for Agricultural Marketing, head of the Mexican delegation introduced the specialties and advantages of Mexican food production and trade. After the presentations, CFNA and the Trade Promotion and Export Promotion Support Services for Agricultural Marketing of the Ministry of Agriculture of Mexico signed cooperation agreement, laying a sound foundation for the communication and cooperation in the future.

Following that, Chinese and Mexican companies conducted business match-making on products including meat, seafood, tequila and coffee from Mexico. Some companies reached a contract at the meeting.
