This year, China holds the rotating presidency of the BRICS cooperation mechanism, and COFCO is the head unit of the Agribusiness Working Group of BRICS Business Council. On the evening of March 29, vice president Yu Lu, invited by COFCO, chaired the 2022 Second Meeting of Agribusiness Working Group of the BRICS Business Council. The participants discussed the initiative on green and low-carbon development in agriculture and the 2022 annual report proposal proposed by the Chinese side, and agreed to promote the implementation of various tasks after the meeting.
