Vice president Yu Lu was invited to attend the bilateral consultation on sturgeon trade between China and Vietnam on Aug. 13. Participants from the two sides included government officials from the trade, customs, and agricultural sectors.
During the three-and-a-half-hour meeting, Yu Lu spoke positively about the sound development trend of the agricultural trade between the two countries, gave detailed introduction on the problems Chinese companies were facing, and raised specific demands on behalf of the Chinese sturgeon industry. Yu Lu also asked the Vietnam side to perfect relevant measures and solve the problems as soon as possible. Yu Lu said, as the most influential organization on agricultural trade in China, CFNA was willing to actively interact with Vietnamese government bodies and industrial organizations, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the agricultural industry of the two countries.
The Vietnam side highly valued the obstacles faced by Chinese companies, approved the reasonable demands from the Chinese side, and promised to actively conduct researches on the issue as soon as possible.
