Belarus Food and Agricultural Products Promotion Webinar Successfully Held

 

Co-hosted by CFNA and the Embassy of Belarus in China, Belarus Food and Agricultural Products Promotion Webinar was successfully held on Oct. 20. President Cao Derong and Chargé d'affaires of Belarus Embassy Ms. KHARLAP Tatiana addressed the webinar. Around 100 company representatives from China and Belarus joined the meeting.

 

This webinar is an important follow-up measure of the conference call between President Xi Jinping and President Lukashenko on June 11, during which consensus was reached on further promote the export of agricultural products from Belarus to China. During the webinar, Mr. BOGDANOV Aleksei, head of the General Department for Foreign Cooperation Activity of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus introduced the export potential of Belarus in the agricultural sector. Six Belarus companies promoted confectionary, ice-cream, dairy products, meat, wine etc. Chinese companies had active and pragmatic interactions with the Belarus side in the Q & A section. President Cao Derong said that the webinar was an effective measure on promoting the communications between the two sides, and CFNA would keep close contact with the Belarus Embassy, actively promote the bilateral exchanges, and facilitate the healthy development of the bilateral agricultural trade.
