President Cao Derong Attends World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress

President Cao Derong attended the 38th World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress in the U.S. from May 21-26 at the invitation of the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC). On May 22, Cao Derong attended the board meeting of the INC and was elected board member with a term of four years.

 

In order to expand the influence of China’s nut and dried fruit industry, CFNA proposed that the 2021 World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress be held in China. INC accepted the proposal and decided to hold it in Shanghai. On May 24, CFNA and the INC signed a Memorandum of Understanding, under the framework of which a series of activities would be hold, aiming at building a high-level international communication and cooperation platform for nut and dried fruit industry.

 

President Cao Derong also met with delegates from the American Pecan Council, American Pistachio Growers Association, Almond Board of California, etc. and exchanged views on the bilateral trade with the delegates.
