President Cao Derong met with Mr. Tan Yew Chong, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) of Malaysia and representatives from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) and the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) on April 24. Cao and the guests exchanged views on promoting bilateral palm oil trade, promoting China’s investment to Malaysia, jointly developing palm oil-based bioenergy, and further strengthening cooperation etc.
