China-Denmark Trade Counterpart Meeting Held in Copenhagen

China-Denmark Trade Counterpart Meeting and the Global Roadshow (Copenhagen) of the Quality and Safety of Shandong Food and Agricultural Products for Export, co-hosted by CFNA and the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, was held in Copenhagen, Denmark on Sep. 20, 2018. Vice president Yu Lu presided over the activity. Around 150 delegates, including Lu Liangwei, Deputy Director-General of the Shandong Department of Commerce, Zhang Shujing, Commercial Counselor of the China Embassy in Denmark, attended the activity.

The activity includes four parts: the promotion meeting, the export of agricultural products forum, the import of agricultural products forum, and the matchmaking meeting for companies.

Vice president Yu lu introduced the conditions of the food and agricultural trade in China, the consumption trend of import food in the Chinese market, as well as China’s tax cut measures for imported products after the entering of the WTO. What’s more, she also pointed out that U.S. government’s unilateral measures of imposing additional tariff on Chinese imports were unreasonable, unfounded, and had damaged the world trade system. Yu appealed for strengthening cooperation between agricultural and food companies in China and Denmark and sustaining healthy development in this field.
