Vice president Yu Lu met with Mr. Charles Manuel, Minister Counsellor of the South Africa Embassy to China on July 19. The two sides had in-depth exchange of views on carrying out cooperation and promoting the bilateral agricultural trade.
Mr. Manuel said that the Embassy of South Africa in China will initiate large-scaleexport promotion programs of agricultural products to China with an aim of supporting South African companies in their effort to expand the Chinese market. Yu Lu discussed with Manuel on promoting the import and export of agricultural products including nuts, meat, coffee, tea, flowers, fruits, juice, etc. and proposed to strengthen cooperation by means of information sharing, mutual visits, business networking, etc.
