President Bian Zhenhu Meets With New Zealand National Party President

President BianZhenhu met with Peter Goodfellow, president of the New Zealand National Party; Dr. Yang Jian, member of the New Zealand House of Representatives during their attendance of the Belt and Road Forum in Beijing on May 14, 2017. The two sides discussed the development of the Oceania Silk Road Network (OSRN) and the bilateral trade between China and New Zealand.

Goodfellow and Yang Jian introduced the background of OSRN and expressed their interest in strengthening investment and trade cooperation on honey, meat, dairy products, aquatic products, etc.

BianZhenhu introduced CFNA’s international cooperation in recent years and expressed appreciation on the forge of OSRN, as well as willingness to work together with OSRN on the promotion of China New Zealand bilateral investment and trade.
