Vice President Yu Lu Attends China Sri Lanka Tea Industry Joint Hands

On April 22, China Sri Lanka Tea Industry Joint Hands was jointly held in Beijing by  Sri Lanka Embassy and CFNA. 23 guests attended the activity, including Dr. KarunasenaKodithuwakku, ambassador of Sri Lanka; Mr. Hasitha de Alwis, director of Sri Lanka Tea Board; Mr.Anselm Perera, chairman of Colombo Tea Traders' Association; Ms. Yu Lu, vice president of CFNA; Mr. Cai Jun, secretary general of tea sub chamber of CFNA; Ms.  Louise Roberge, chairman of Tea and Herbal Association of Canada; Choon Kong Liew, chairman of Tea Trade Association of Malaysia; and enterprise representatives from the two sides.
Vice president Yu Lu hosted the activity and delivered speech on behalf of Chinese side. Ambassador Kodithuwakku, Mr. Alwis, and Mr. Perera also delivered speeches. Mr. Cai Jun and Mr. Perera signed cooperation agreements on behalf of the two sides.  During the activity, the two sides had in-depth exchange of ideas on strengthening friendship and bilateral cooperation, as well as promoting bilateral development of tea trade.
