Vice President RongWeidong met with Mr.AlejandroMongrell and Mr. Federico Lage, the First and Second Secretary of the Embassy of Uruguay in China on Feb.21. Mr. Rong made brief introductionofCFNA’s major trade promotion events and exhibitions in 2017. Mr. Mongrell and Mr. Lage introduced the production, processing, and the export of Uruguayan agricultural products and food including beef, wine, rice, wheat, barley, corn, soybean, olive oil, blueberry, orange, lemon, caviar, wool, leather, carpet, etc. They also invited CFNA members to attend the 11th China-LAC Business Summit held in Punta del Este, Uruguay in Nov. 2017.Mr.Rong said that CFNA is willing to strengthen cooperation and promote the bilateral trade with the Uruguayan side.
