Vice president Yu Lu met with PoulMichelsen, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Faroe Islands on Nov. 4. Yu Lu introduced China’s import and trade of aquatic and marine products, as well as CFNA’s work on building a platform for overseas enterprises to explore the Chinese market. She also pointed out that the Faroe Island is China’s 14th import source of aquatic and marine products, and the 2nd of salmon. Mr. Michelsen said that China is a crucial export partner for the Faroe’s aquatic and marine products, and Yu’s introduction was very beneficial. The two sides also had in-depth discussion on strengthening cooperation and helping aquatic companies of the Faroe to expand the Chinese market.
